Dolly

I have to say that I am quite surprised that this little peach hasn't been adopted yet.  She is such a sweetheart!  Anytime I sneeze (which is frequently), she runs over to make sure I'm ok.  Anytime I smile at her, she runs over to get head pets.  Every time I let her out of her crate, she gives me a quick kiss on the hand before she goes outside.

Seriously...this girl is a delight!  Sure, she's shy when she first meets you.  But just imagine what it will feel like when you introduce her to a new person and she cuddles close to you for safety.  It will give you the most satisfying feeling of love you could imagine.

Dolly is very curious and will check out any suspicious noise.
This is her inquisitive look.

This is the play with me look

Dolly wanted to play with Scout, but he had a toy.
So she was trying to sit as close as possible so she was ready when he was.

The look I get when I sneeze.
I wonder if my sneezes mean something in dog language?

Parker has been adopted!

I can't believe he lasted as long as he did, but Parker finally went to his furever home!!!  He was absolutely in love with his new family as soon as they walked in the door.  And they were also in love with him.  Another great match!  I can't wait to get updates!

You might also notice Scout is off the website...I am a 3-time foster failure.  Today I decided to adopt Scout.  He and Bella just got along so well, I knew I'd regret it if I let anyone else take him.  Please don't take that to mean that Dolly doesn't get along with them, she definitely does.  Unfortunately, Bella makes the decisions in this household, and for some reason, she just didn't vibe with Dolly in a best friends forever kind of way (maybe it's a 2 females thing?).  They get along fine: occasionally playing together and such.  It just didn't feel like a forever thing between them.  I've now had 5 other dogs in the house while I've had Dolly, and she's the ONLY one who's gotten along with everyone else.  She's such an easy going dog who just loves to play, I'd bet she'd fit right in with any family.  And for anyone on the fence about her, she had her vet check on Saturday with Parker, so as long as you apply within the next 29 days, she's ready to go!  (After 29 days she'll also be ready to go, she just needs to get another vet check, which depending on my schedule can take a couple days.)

Parker & Scout (with a brief appearance by Dolly)

Parker, Scout, and I have had a couple of outdoor photo shoots this past week.  Dolly chose to lounge inside, but there are a couple shots of her hidden in the bunch.

Enjoy!
