Definitive Guide to Chateau/Maggie

Updated 11Jun15

Age: ~3 years
Weight: ~27lbs
Food:   1-2C Purina One dry food (depending on if she can find any leftovers from the others or not)
Treats:  Maggie loves treats and is not picky at all about type.
Good with Men: yes
Good with Women: yes
Good with Children: yes
Good with Dogs: yes
Good with Cats: unknown
Housebroken: Yes.  She rings bells hung on the door to let me know when she needs to go out.
Crate Trained: Yes.  Although I don't have a crate large enough for her, when I'm trying to get Jett in his crate, she sometimes thinks I'm talking to her and will squeeze in ahead of him.
Leash Trained: Yes.
Other Skills: She will 'sit' and lay 'down' on command.  She also comes at the sound of a whistle.
Personality: Maggie is a lover!  She likes to cuddle with her person.  She is very playful, whether it's by herself, with other dogs, or with her person.  When she needs a little attention, she'll lay either her head or her paw on my hand.  Maggie does startle easily when she's napping.  Even the slightest movement causes her to jump sky high.  So far this hasn't caused any problems (regarding biting or lashing out), but it's something I'm keeping an eye on.
Toys:  Maggie loves to play with toys.  She prefers plastic toys and has a small squeaky football that she absolutely loves.  She will toss it around herself or she'll play fetch with me.
Nicknames: Maggie (her Fluffy Dog name is Chateau, but her previous family called her Maggie, so I'm sticking with that)
Ideal Family: Maggie wants a family that enjoys spending time outdoors, going for walks, sitting in the sun, but also enjoys a good movie at home in the evening.  She likes to sit by her person, even if that means she has to lay on the floor and just cuddle up with their feet.  She will be ok with kids, as long as they don't make any crazy movements around her.
