Yahtzee & Lilly

Just a quick update on Yahtzee and Lilly before we get to some pics.

As most of you know, we had some pretty wild storms this past week.  One afternoon the tornado sirens went off, my stress level jumped to about 100, and I grabbed the dogs and headed to the basement.  Fortunately, there was no tornado, and after about half an hour we headed back upstairs.  It was still storming and we had no power, so my stress level was lower but still elevated.  Yahtzee took it upon himself to keep me calm.  If I was sitting, he jumped right into my lap.  If I was walking around, he stayed right by me.  He didn't whine or bark at all, he just wanted to make sure I was ok.  Now, Yahtzee has always been a lover, but he's never really been a super-cuddler like he was that night.  So I have to say I was really impressed.  Also important to note: in all these storms, neither Yahtzee nor Lilly seems to be afraid.  There's no whining, no crying, no barking.  If it's night time, they still go in their crates like normal.  They are not happy about going outside if it's really pouring, but neither am I, so I can't really fault them for that.
