Finally, after a year of planning and months of work, we have a fenced in yard! I really pushed this last week to finish it up, and managed to put up the last picket late yesterday afternoon! I still need to dog-proof it (I'm putting up chicken wire vertically up to the first rail and horizontally along the ground for about 2', to prevent digging out. Eventually (next year) that'll also be covered by a mulch bed and maybe some landscaping.), but I was so tired by the time I finished the actual fence that I just didn't think I could manage another couple hours of that. The beginning of my week is looking pretty busy, but hopefully by Wednesday/Thursday I'll be able to get that down and set my little monsters free!
Here, have some pictures of the rest of our week:

From left to right: Ryleigh, Owen, Minaki Eating breakfast like good pups! |
I gave the dogs a rope chew. I have no idea how Hardy ended up with it, but just look at Minaki wishing it was her instead! |
Ryleigh's turn with the chew. Poor Owen really, really wanted it to be his turn. For being so small, the other dogs really respect Ryleigh's space! |
Minaki's turn! She doesn't try to steal the chew from the other dogs, but the second they walk away she will pounce! |
Owen got the chew! Look at Minaki's tail wagging! |
Owen thought this was the safest place to store the chew from the other dogs. |
He didn't really want to chew on it...he just wanted to have it! Just look how happy he is! |
You can't possibly say no to this face. |
It is so difficult getting good pictures of Mini! I think she's just camera shy. |
