Ellie Mae has been adopted!

Sad day for me.  My Ellie Bear left with her forever family last night.  I am so happy for her and for them, because she is a great dog and I know they'll be very happy together.  But I can't help but miss my little peanut!  She's the only foster I've had that I seriously considered adopting (if that gives you an idea how much I enjoyed having her around).  And she was finally picking up the potty training (she discovered ringing the bells would get her outside on Tuesday, and had been ringing them nonstop since)!

Time to be happy for her.  Like I said, she's got a great family now.  And two puppy siblings to make new friends with!  Have a happy life Ellie, and be good for your new family!

Hi Savannah. We just wanted to say how much we appreciate all of the love and effort you have put into "Ellie Mae". Having just picked her up last night, we figured there would be a lot of transition challenges to work on with our new baby. We have named her Elizabeth Marie and we call her Lizzy. She did wake up a few times last night to go potty..but is doing very well! We took her shopping today and she seems to love her new clothes. I will upload a picture soon. I just wanted to say THANK YOU so very much again for taking the time to love her and help her grow into the wonderful baby she is! We are all so in love with her...

Just thought we would give you an update -
Well Lizzy didn't seem to respond much to her new name..so we tried Daisy and she loves it! She comes (most of the time) when we call her by name! Sometimes she will just sit and look at you like - come here and get me...lol We took her to Chili Fest last weekend where she met lots of new people, new dogs and even got to walk on the ice! No worries- when she was cold, I just carried her :-)
Last night we took her to the vet to get her checked out and she did very well! The vet was impressed by how sweet she is! We explained that she had an amazing foster mom which helped with her development. She seems to be getting more confident everyday and we can't wait to take her for walks around the lake in the summer! We just absolutely love her so much and wanted again, to say thank you so much for your loving, caring and patience you have helping to raise all these puppies! If you ever need a reference, feel free to give them our contact information.
